1/24/17 - Learning Logic (Software) (Part 9) (Comping Multiple Takes)

27% complete.  Another quick chapter.  Talked about using the Quick Swipe tool to combine (comp) multiple recorded takes into one track.  I could see it being very helpful, but up until this point I've just manually done that kind of work.  It might take a little while to really wrap my head around the new idea (and exactly how to perform it in Logic).  It's also seems more geared toward music I'd say (rather than sound effects editing) where fine-tuned timing is relatively the same across all takes, but at the moment my mind is mostly focused on audio editing, so I might not use this tool for a while.  Also, it used a live recording as an example, but I'm wondering if this works for midi instruments as well.
