- positioning
- playback reference
- (Boy, am I used to this one!)
- playback volume
- (And such a beginner at this one! Both really… But man, am I used to the frustration of hearing my mix so differently between different systems.)
- when to turn monitors on and off
- in relation to other equipment for safety
