1/20/18 - Reading "The Sound Effects Bible"

Read a full chapter today, though it was only about 6 pages.  It was all about building a field recording package.  He described three levels, and the general differences between each:

• basic recording package
• standard recording package
• professional recording package

He also gave a lot of specific examples of equipment of the day that would fit into each category.  I'm not sure what has changed in the market since this book was printed, but I figure most of the companies will probably be the same.

He also wrapped up the chapter with extra little do-dads you might want to include in your package.  Man, I really need to get some sandbags.
