Back again!  Still posting on the day after the fact, but only missed it by about 20 min. so I'm getting better!  More reading…

Today's reading was all about different microphone models.

Terms to remember:

• MS (need to research this one more to really understand)

• stereo shotgun microphone
• general purpose microphone
• vocal/voiceover microphone
• lavaliere microphone
• instrument microphone
• hydrophone (underwater microphone)
• binaural microphone
• surround sound microphone

The author describes each type and gives examples of actual microphones of the day.  It was a lot to take in, so for today I just focused on the stereo microphone, and learned the different styles within that.
